Exchange

During your studies, you have various opportunities for exchanges with other universities. You can find information on all the opportunities on the university's homepage.

On the one hand, there are the ENLIGHT offers with courses in virtual form or as face-to-face events, on the other hand you have the opportunity for exchange semesters via the Swiss-European Mobility Program (SEMP).

SEMP (Erasmus) studies

The Institute of Geological Sciences has exchange agreements (Swiss-European Mobility Program (SEMP), formerly Erasmus) with various universities in several European countries.

Registration conditions 

You have a Swiss-European Mobility Program (Erasmus) contract with the desired host university for your mono / major / minor / major subject.

You have completed your first year of study at the University of Bern at the time of your stay abroad.

You will remain enrolled at the University of Bern during your stay abroad and pay the full tuition fees here. Your tuition fees will be waived at the host university. Cantonal scholarships will continue to be paid during your stay abroad.

ENLIGHT

There is also the opportunity to participate in the Joint Erasmus+ Program with ENLIGHT. You can study for one or two semesters at one of the ENLIGHT partner universities.
