  • Modelling fluid-rock interactions at depth (ERC-project PROMOTING)
  • Petrogenesis and scale of equilibrium in metamorphic rocks. Development of iterative thermodynamic models; programs: Bingo-Antidote (www.xmaptools.com/bingo-antidote) & GRTMOD (grtmod.petrochronology.org)
  • Quantitative compositional mapping to analyse the compositional variability of major and trace elements in rocks by EPMA and LA-ICP-MS. Development and improvement of XMapTools (www.xmaptools.com) software
  • Thermodynamic properties and models of complex solid solutions; kinetics and phase equilibria; oxygen fractionation modeling (database: DBOXYGEN; programs: ThermoOx & PTLoop; oxygen.petrochronology.org)
  • Micro-dating techniques: LA-ICP-MS and SIMS measurements (U-Th-Pb, allanite, monazite and zircon)
  • Geodynamic and structural evolution of orogenic belts (Western Alps)
