Research Interest
I am a hydrogeochemist working in various fields of geosciences. My research interests are to quantitatively assess (i) coupled thermal-hydraulic-chemical processes in natural and engineered geothermal systems, (ii) the hydrogeochemical evolution of deep aquifers, and (iii) the fate and transport of geogenic and anthropogenic contaminants. To pursue these interests, I follow an integrated geochemical approach of combining laboratory experiments, field studies, and reactive transport modeling. As Co-Head of the Rock-Water Interaction Group and Lecturer in Geoenergy, I am strongly committed to bring in my expertise to applied projects and contribute to solving real world environmental problems.
