Research Interest

  • Sedimentary records from lacustrine and marine environment as indicators for climate change, earthquakes, tsunamis and glacial history
  • Applied Geophysics (seismics, swath bathymetry) for paleoseismology and natural hazard analysis
  • Sediment archives for geological context from micro scale (grain fabric from micro-CT) to regional scale (lake-to-lake correlation) combined with modern computational interpretations (machine-learning)
